Terms and Conditions

Photo sessions are generally between one and two hours in length.  In the case of newborns they can take up to four hours depending on the temperament of the baby during the session and allowing for feeding breaks.

For all other sessions, I do these throughout the day when the sunlight is best at the chosen location.  I always choose the time for my shoots based on available light.  I make all possible efforts to provide my clients with beautiful images. The aim is to have fun and make kids want to have their photos taken!

Within 1-2 weeks of your shoot, I will contact you to let you know your images are ready.  Images are hosted on my website for 72 hours.   I will only upload your images when you have time to view them.   So after you have heard from me, please contact me when you are ready to view your images.

As soon as I have the go ahead from you, I will send you the password to your gallery.  Your images will only be live for 72 hours and this time begins when you are ready.  Please ensure your selection is made within this 72 hour timeframe.  If more time is required for you to make your selection, a re-hosting fee of $15 will apply to cover the costs of retaining the gallery and it will be extended in two day blocks ($15 every two days).  It’s a good idea to jot down your favourites as you see them, to avoid this fee.

Please note that if clients are not purchasing a digital collection, there is a $400 minimum order requirement.  Check current price lists for details.

If an order is not made within 30 days of your images going live, they may not be available for orders.

Your order and Payment is required 72 hours after images go live and can be made  by cash, bank transfer to Kristy Mannix BSB 084 424 Account 569664418.

Print orders will be processed as soon as payment has been cleared.  Please allow 5-7 working days for these orders to be ready.   Slightly longer for Canvas or mounted prints.  I will notify you when your collection is ready and you can either collect it from me, or arrange another method of collection.  I am also happy to send it to you via Australia Post if you prefer, however this will be an additional cost to you.

Once Prints or Digital Files are received by the client, all monies paid are non-refundable and exchanges are not possible due to the custom nature of photography.

Model Release Form

Clients will be given a model release to sign which allows the photographer to use session images on website galleries, the associated blog and possibly in future printed matter connected to Kristy Mannix Photography. Clients have the right to withdraw their model release at any time or choose to limit its scope.

Copyright

Clients may not scan or reproduce images in bulk for distribution unless they have purchased the appropriate right to do so.

In line with Australian cross media copyright laws, clients may make ONE copy of a print to transfer into JPEG format for archival purposes and should note that it is illegal to print that jpeg without license which is available from the photographer.

Reprinting and distributing copyrighted images is prohibited. Copyright is retained by the photographer. Further prints can be reordered at any time within 6 months of the shoot. Any later than that will be advised on a case by case basis.

Cancellations

As a courtesy, please advise of the need to cancel or reschedule as soon as you possibly can. An alternative session time can then be made. The photographer has no desire to penalise clients for circumstances out of their control but would like the opportunity to be able to schedule other clients in that session time.
